Event Details

Word from the Appleumpkin Committee is that the festival for 2020 has been cancelled due to health issues in the state and the desire to keep Tecumseh community members safe.  Look for future news on 2021!!

SATURDAY, October 9, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

SUNDAY, October 10,2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Come on by the Tecumseh Museum on your way or during your visit to the Tecumseh’s Appleumpkin Festival in October!  This annual event features, of course, APPLES (at Kapnick Orchards on Roger’s Highway) and PUMPKINS (at various locations throughout the county.  There are scarecrow making that you get to take home, or carnival rides, face painting, and LOTS and LOTS of places and booths to shop or get something to fill the growling stomach from this two-day event.

But where or where to park!  Sure — there are lots of side street free parking, and some lots in the downtown area, but what about helping out the local historical museum and park in our lot on the main street (corner of Oneida and Chicago Blvd), east of the activities.

Just $5.00 — that’s what we’re asking, and it goes to the museum for the preservation of various historical artifacts as well as helping us keep this historic church building maintained for years to come.  Don’t balk at the price!  You can’t find much closer accommodations for your car, and we’re an IRS approved charity under the 501(c)3 guidelines!

While you’re walking to the festivities or coming back, stop a moment in the museum and see what we have on display, or stop by our booth and purchase a historical book or two!  We’d love to have you visit.
