Promenade Tecumseh

HISTORIC HOME TOURS!  EIGHT DISTINCT HISTORIC HOMES ON BICENTENNIAL TOUR!

SEE INFORMATION BELOW

As you drive through historic Tecumseh you will notice a variety of historic buildings- old churches, stone homes and Victorian mansions. Promenade Tecumseh also hosts spring/summer tours and history walks which showcase some of Tecumseh’s historical homes, houses, and storefronts. Each depict various styles, eras, and construction, along with the historical significance to our area. Many of these homes are on the National Register of Historic Buildings.  Through these homes you can explore the architecture that you don’t see created today and learn some surprising secrets along the way.

Come visit Tecumseh and while you are at the museum you can purchase a copy of Beyond the Boulevard, written by Diane Proctor, which details many of the homes and buildings around the town.  Diane was a lifetime member of the Society, and we are honored to share her research on the homes through the sale of this book.
