The Civil War: Laura Haviland & More

Author P.C. Zick will speak on the involvement Lenawee County played in the War between the states.  This includes two remarkable individuals, Laura Haviland and Harmon Camburn.  Haviland’s development of the Raisin Institute and Camburn’s remarkable contributions as a Civil War soldier will be discussed.

This free event to be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tecumseh District Library is co-sponsored by the Tecumseh District Library and the Tecumseh Area Historical Society as a part of their goals to present historical information on the life and times of our pasts.
